Tell the Governor!

The legislature passed S209 (Safe Locations) and S227 (School protocols on civil arrests) to protect Vermonters from abuse by ICE. Both bills are waiting for Governor Scott's signature. You can send him a message here. It will ask for your contact details and a message topic. We suggest "Civil Rights". The message can be brief, like this:

Please sign S209 (Safe Locations) and S227 (School protocols for civil arrests) into law. Vermonters need protections from abusive outside law enforcement. Thanks.

Or use your own words, but do it now!

"Even on this small stage ... something might be done by throwing all one's weight on the scale of breadth, tolerance, charity, temperance, peace, and kindliness to man and beast. We can't all strike very big blows, and even the little ones count for something." - Arthur Conan Doyle, physician and writer
