It really was a fine No Kings Day!

No Kings Day wrap-up

Thousands of peaceful demonstrators from all over Vermont (and not a few out-of-staters) converged on City Hall Park today at noon. Best estimate: 10,000 cheering, singing, dancing, laughing Defenders of Democracy made clear that they are not intimidated by Trump's fascist police state tactics! It was beautiful and YOU made it happen. Congratulations!


Also today: Over a hundred folks joined the Honk & Wave in the New North End. Thousands congregated in Montpelier, Washington, Times Square and many, many more locations across the country and the world. THAT is what Democracy looks like!

What Next?

Weekly ICE Out rallies

Starting on Saturday, November 1, Burlington Rising will hold weekly protests near the intersection of 189 & Shelburne Rd. to demand the shutdown of ICE operations in Vermont. Rapid Response Training with Migrant Justice
